Mary Shelley's 1818 horror classic, "Frankenstein", gets a 21st-century update in this innovative British production, directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle ("127 Hours", "Slumdog Millionaire") and adapted by Nick Dear. The high-definition recording was made on the London Stage of the acclaimed National Theatre. The classic tale of a mad scientist and his ghoulish creation, the production features actors Benedict Cumberbatch ("Atonement") and Jonny Lee Miller ("Trainspotting") alternating the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature in two electrifying broadcasts.
